Hi Seena,

The Red Cross Children’s Hospital uses Bio Oil to treat kids with burn scars. I think that says a lot about Bio-Oil’s effectiveness. Don’t let your scar hang around any longer. Give Bio Oil a try and see how it works for you. It takes time for it to fade your scar so be patient!

Please keep me informed of your progress. I’d like to know the results -good or bad.

I have acne prone skin and I found if you drop half the amount of Bio Oil to Tea Tree oil, it works great for preventing acne. Example 4 drops of Bio-oil to 2 drops of Tea tree oil mixed in, makes for a great all over face application!

I have been noticing small fine lines around my eyes and my skin was also dryish , who large lines around my mouth - well let me tell you after 2 weeks of Bio-Oil every night and every morning - no more fine lines around my eyes and one line around my mouth is almost gone, the other one getting there. Skin tone has dramatically improved allover my face and neck. As soon as I run out I am buying a new bottle . Ladies over 40 try it - this stuff works - at least it does for me! Heres a tip for you: mix a couple of drops of bio-oil with 1 drop of frankincense pure essential oil. I got frankincense oil cause a someone recomended that it is good for scar tissue (I had developed shingles). Noticed the other benefit is for rejuvenating your skin and wrinkles, so I decided to mix the two together sparingly. I use them on my face and the results are amazing. Even friends are asking what I have done with my skin, that it looks so well. Downside is Frankincense pure essential oil is expensive - 12 or 13 euros (not sure what it is in other currencies), but essential oils do last a long time because you only use one or two drops a time.

I just wanted to say that I know how you felt when you had your scarring. I was in a bad automobile accident 15 years ago during college and I had massive scarring on the back of my right arm due to my humorous bone shattering (and the area being opened up 3 times for surgical reasons). The scarring that was left put me in a position that I felt uncomfortable even wearing a short sleeve shirt let alone going out to the beach without a shirt. I have dealt with this for many years, but fortunately because of products like Bio-Oil, the scarring started to actually start to change color to my regular skin tone as well. I did more that show a sigh of relief: I was nearly in tears by the 3rd month because it fainted to the point of only being noticed if you give a double look. Don’t get me wrong, the size of the scar and the amount of times it was re-opened will always show, but the color is a lot lighter. For me, it’s all I can ask for and I am more than appreciative because of these kinds of products. A big thank you to those that made it their career to help others in similar situations such as myself. Bless you all.
